Hi, I’m Ayda!

a Turkish-American actress, singer, writer, and biologist based in Sarasota, Florida.

Having graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with my BS in Biology and Minor in Drama (2022), I am currently pursuing my MFA in Acting at the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training (2025). A great lover of all things art, I have been performing in local musical theatre productions like Les Miserables (2018) and Mamma Mia! (2020) since childhood, and have since made my professional debut at the Texas Shakespeare Festival in an invigorating Lear and Pride and Prejudice (2023).

I believe the greatest catalyst for change is art. It exists to expose truths and encourage love, and love is at the center of everything I do and wish to accomplish.

When I’m not onstage or in class, I can probably be found reading fantasy books on the beach, taking care of my plants, building Spotify playlists, or worldbuilding my homebrew Dungeons and Dragons campaign!
